managing organizations between simplicy and chaos

WELCOME MESSAGE

Managing modern complex adaptive organizations is not a simple thing to do.

Managers can develop so-called "systems thinking" and the ability to zoom out to a blimp-view perspective, then zoom in to minute detail. Managers can zoom their perspective to an appropriate range then pan around to note relationships between groups and individuals.

Biological systems add complexity for survival. Think of the changes from one-cell life to humans. What processes or people in your organization require adaptation to survive and grow?
